"Solar Power" is a term most people recognize but few people fully understand the market behind the term. Recently many of the manufacturers of products to generate solar power have saw a steep decline in business and as a result are facing bankrupcy. The following article will discuss some of the factors leading to this decline. Have you ever considered how intricate the energy field is? What do you think the declining solar power market will mean for the economy and the US in general? What do you think a difference maker would be in the situation?

I honestly have no idea what to say here. Maybe the economy will boost because more people will be using power services or it might drop because people may spend less money on other items because they have to pay for power.
ReplyDeleteI am not really sure how to answer this because I have never really read into solar power. But by reading that article it sounds like there might end up being a fight between the U.S. and China manufacturers over pricing and selling.
ReplyDeleteIm lost on the whole idea about solar power, all i know is that it helps perserve energy or something like. what i do know is America is a nation of getting better in everything that you do and if this company is not producing then they will get ran over.
ReplyDeleteSolar power seems like it could be a good idea, but I am not sure if everyone is ready to jump on board with this idea. Just as the article talks about, the smaller companies will fall to the bigger companies and if the big companies can wait it out, I think they will continue making money after this business decline. I think the US economy will be just fine without solar power for a while. Just like other things, if people know they can't have it, they will want it. So I belive this decline may spark peoples interest again in solar power.

ReplyDeleteI really don't know nothimg about solar power. But maybe if you bumped it up more people will ne using power services or if it drop down it's because people probably spent less money on different items to pay for the power...
ReplyDeleteI never really have thought about it before. I knew that it was around. I think that the declining market will mean that some more people are going to lose their jobs. I am not really sure what a difference maker would be for this situation.
ReplyDeleteTo get a good understanding of businesses in the energy business it's usually not easy. I think that the declining market in solar energy will result in a loss of jobs, I think we should value these companies as much as some of the big banks that america is bailing out, clean energy should be a goal not a fad. A difference maker would be an increase in demand from the public, people don't realize that products like this practically pay for themselves over time.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right Hunter i enjoyed reading this!
DeleteWow mike insightful post about my post, really impressed with what you had to say here.
DeleteThanks I really enjoyed your post about my post about your post. You're sure a neat writer.
DeleteWow holy goodness nobody has ever complimented me like that, where do you come up with this stuff!?!?!?!?!?!
DeleteThe article says that the demand is down which means prices are also down and the supply is up. Our economic system should kind of fix everything. Yes, these companies will have to sell these panels for below market price but once they get through the pain of that they should be good. Then supply will be down and then they can raise prices and so forth. Nearly everyone is in a economic down turn, I don't see why solar panels were on the top of the list for a news article...
ReplyDelete4/10, see me after class.
DeleteI agree sub-par at best
DeleteWHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
DeleteSolar Power is something that people in North Dakota are not used to. We live in such a cold climate, that solar power would not work in our environment. For the rest of the U.S I believe that it would benefit. With the declining business, it shows that not a lot of Americans are even thinking about investing in solar energy. Solar energy has always been the go green alternative to energy, but with its decline, I think it shows how going green is not something everyone is on board to do, or else the United States is just not ready for it. I think it will affect our economy in a small way, because a lot of those compaines are not well known companies.
ReplyDeleteI haven't thought about how intricate the energy field is. I think that the declining solar power market could mean more solar panel installation among the general public, at least until the manufacturers reduce the amount they're producing and bring the demand back up. I don't really know what could be a difference maker.
ReplyDeleteI've never considered how intricate the field of solar energy is. I always thought of it as just there. Everything is on the decline it seems I think most bigger companies will find a way through it. I'm not sure if there is a solution to much of these problems cause no one really wants to spend money in these times.
ReplyDeleteWOW MIKE YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN! Did you think of this combination of words up or did you read it in a book, because I'm really impressed at this new word arrangement, people like you and Mark Zuckerberg are innovators.
DeleteYou know I work really hard with my arranging of words, but sadly it seems like you're the only one who appreciates it..
DeleteYou just like Shakespeare only with words!
DeleteI really don't know anything about solar power. After reading the article, it sounds like with the decline of solar energy will end up in many losing their jobs. A difference maker for this could be if the publics demand for solar energy products increased.
ReplyDeleteI never really thought about solar energy. It seems like a good idea though since it is a clean energy. Since the solar power market is declining more people might go out and buy panels some since the price is so low. It seems like it is going to be an America vs. China ordeal to see who will be the leader in solar energy.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about solar energy but I have see ways solar pantiles work. However I never thought about this topic before. With the market crashing it will affect the economy a lot because people will lose jobs and business will go bankrupt because the lack of their investing.
ReplyDeleteI honestly am not really too familiar with solor energy and technologies. I know my friends dad is an engineer that works for GE and he works with solar panel technology. From the little of what I heard from him it seems like the industry is going up and will continue to do so for quite some time.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason it's going bankrupt is because a lot of money and resources go into making solar energy. I don't even know anyone who uses solar energy. I think it's a good idea and possibly a great investment, but maybe a little bit too expensive for the average person.
